Don’t you just hate it when you rent a DVD from Netflix and it shows up on streaming within weeks? Annoying!

But, seriously, this was a pretty good movie. Quirky, funny.

Netflix: I Love You Phillip Morris

Michael and I just watched the entire series of Sports Night on Netflix streaming. I knew he was a fan of Aaron Sorkin, as am I. With the lack of new TV in the summer, we got through it quickly.

The pilot had a laugh track which was out of place and distracting. But it soon faded away. The will they/won’t they love story wore on me after a while. But the show made me laugh, had well defined characters, and kept me glued for its entire 2 season run. I probably should have watched it when it originally aired, but I thought it was about sports. Duh.

Anyway, I recommend it, especially if you’re a fan of Sorkinesque dialogue and humor (The Social Network, The West Wing).
